Allen Kleine Deters
Allen has pastored for many years across youth ministry, worship, church planting, and lead roles. He and his wife Karen have six grown children between them.
Cathy Gates
After a 20-year career in public health and leading in an evangelical church, Cathy founded Thrive to create safe, confidential spaces where ministry leaders can be honest about what they carry. Her focus areas include burnout prevention and healing through formational prayer.
Dave Dion
Dave brings over 25 years as an ordained minister, serving as a pastor and within mission organizations. He and his wife Evelyn have been married more than 40 years.
John Teeuwsen
John has been married for over 38 years and has four married children and nine grandchildren. He holds a Bachelor degree in Social Work and used these skills as a site supervisor in construction for over 35 years.
Karen Kleine Deters
As part of the Thrive team, Karen has a passion for prayer and creativity and for creating a safe space where people can be their authentic selves in the presence of God, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and be open to the restoring power of the Holy Spirit. Karen's own journey through Thrive's ministry has equipped and inspired her to now serve others with compassion, helping create space for them to encounter God's restoring work.
Sarah Shennan
Sarah brings a unique blend of ministry experience, nonprofit training, and marketing expertise to her role as Administrator. She enjoys building systems and supporting initiatives that help Thrive serve ministry leaders with excellence.
